The landfill is located on the west side of the southern peninsula tip of Promontory Point. This major modification changes the name of the landfill and the owners/operators from Promontory Landfill and Promontory Landfill, LLC to Promontory Point Landfill and Promontory Point Resources, LLC, addresses landfill design construction and financial assurance for closure/post-closure costs. The public comment period to receive comments on this request will commence on November 2, 2016 and end on December 7, 2016.
