REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Ogden City Corporation is accepting sealed Proposals from Contractors interested in providing proposals for the installation, startup and commissioning of two new chillers at the Ogden City Municipal Building located at 2549 Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT. RFP request DOES NOT require the procurement of Chiller #1 or Chiller #2. Contractors must be able to demonstrate their ability to complete the work as required. The successful contractor will be expected to provide all tools, materials, transportation, labor, and equipment necessary to complete the work per the specifications. All work must meet current industry standards and all federal, state and local rules and regulations. The scope of this RFP includes the removal of the current 240 ton chiller, the re-configuring of the chiller mechanical room, and the installation of two new water-cooled chillers. Chiller #1 has a 180 TON capacity and Chiller #2 has a 120 TON capacity. Work will start on this project in March and must be completed by June 1st. A mandatory pre-submittal meeting and building walk-through will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 9:00am in the Municipal Building located at 2549 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah 84401, in the 7th floor conference room. Please allow at least two (2) hours for the pre-submittal conference and site inspection tour. Proposal information packets may be downloaded from the Ogden City Website located at OgdenCity.com under the Doing Business tab and Bids & Proposals tab (pdf format) or obtained from Ogden City Purchasing, 2549 Washington Blvd., Suite 510, Ogden, Utah, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Responses to this Request for Proposal shall be submitted to the office of the City Purchasing Agent, 2549 Washington Boulevard, Suite 510 (5th Floor) Ogden, Utah, no later than Monday, March 5, 2012 at 4:00 pm. LATE PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any proposals that best serve its convenience and/or is found to be in the best interest of the City.
