PUBLIC NOTICE The Federal Clean Water Act established the National Pretreatment Program to control pollutants, which pass through or interfere with treatment processes in Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW). Central Weber Sewer Improvement District (District) has been given the responsibility for establishing and enforcing pretreatment standards for industrial users served by the District. Pursuant to 40 CFR Section 403.8(f)(2)(vii) the District must annually publish a list of industrial users within its service area which were in significant noncompliance (SNC) with the District 's pretreatment standards during the previous twelve months. SNC is defined in 40 CFR 403.8(f)(2)(vii)(A-H). The three industries listed below have violated pretreatment standards according to this definition. This notice has been issued to meet the above requirements and does not constitute any decision as to the action, if any, necessary to remedy the industrial user compliance.
