SUMMONS AND NOTICE OF INTENDED FORFEITFURE IN THE SECOND JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT OF WEBER COUNTY, STATE OF UTAH, OGDEN DEPARTMENT Case No. 120905944FP STATE OF UTAH, Plaintiff, vs. ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FIVE DOLLARS IN U.S. CURRENCY, Defendant, (James Kirkpatrick), Claimant. TO: JAMES KILPATRICK 1. Notice is hereby given that the State of Utah is proceeding to forfeit the above described currency and to confiscate and forfeit and right, title or interest you may have in said property. 2. Pursuant to ? 24-1-1 et seq., Utah Code Annotated 2004, as amended, you have thirty days from the service of this Summons and Notice on you within which to file a Verified Answer to the Complaint on file, a copy of which is attached hereto and served upon you herewith, in the Second Judicial District Court, located at 2525 Grant Avenue, Ogden, Utah. 3. Pursuant to ? 24-1-7, if you are an indigent person, you may qualify for court appointed counsel. Some, or all, of the above property may be petitioned for expedited release through a court order, for hardship reason, in appropriate circumstances (good cause being shown). You may be able to obtain a release of some, or all, of the above property, by posting with the district court a surety bond equal to the fair market value of the property.
