NOTICE OF ANNEXATION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North Ogden City Council received an annexation petition from Westside Investments, LC to annex into the corporate limits of North Ogden City. The property is approximately 200.62 acres in area and is located north of The Cove Subdivision to the public land boundaries and east to the power lines. The City Council received certification from S. Annette Spendlove, North Ogden City Recorder, on October 18, 2012. Copies of the proposed annexation are available from S. Annette Spendlove, City Recorder, North Ogden City, 505 East 2600 N. North Ogden, Utah from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. The legal description of the property petitioned for annexation is as follows: A PART OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 16, AND THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 15, AND THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 21, TOWNSHIP 7 NORTH, RANGE 1 WEST, SALT LAKE BASE AND MERIDIAN U.S. SURVEY AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT A POINT COMMON TO THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF THE UTAH POWER AND LIGHT CORRIDOR AND THE WEST LINE OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 16; WHICH POINT IS A NORTHEASTERLY CORNER OF THE NORTH OGDEN CORPORATE LIMITS LINE AS RECORDED IN BOOK 19 AT PAGE 81 IN THE WEBER COUNTY RECORDER 'S OFFICE, SAID POINT ALSO BEING NORTH 0052 '59 " EAST 1989.66 FEET ALONG SAID QUARTER SECTION LINE FROM THE SOUTH QUARTER CORNER OF SAID SECTION 16; RUNNING THENCE (SOUTHERLY REC.) CONTAINS 200.62 ACRES MORE OR LESS The City Council will receive written protests to this annexation from the legislative or governing bodies of affected entities until November 19, 2012. Only written protests by legal protesters will be considered. A written protest to this annexation must be filed with the Weber County Board of County Commissioners, 2380 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah 84401 and a copy of said protest must be provided to S. Annette Spendlove, City Recorder, North Ogden City, 505 East 2600 North, North Ogden, Utah 84414, by November 19, 2012. If no written protests are received, the City Council may grant this annexation request by adopting an ordinance. If written protests are received, the City Council will evaluate and determine if the protests are from legal protesters and the validity of the protest. Upon the completion of such an evaluation and determination, the City Council may or may not adopt an ordinance annexing this property. By order of the City Council: S.
