NOTICE OF ANNEXATION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North Ogden City Council received an annexation petition from George Hall to annex into the corporate limits of North Ogden City. The property is 2.84 acres in area and is located at approximately 1425 E 2900 N. The City Council received certification from S. Annette Spendlove, North Ogden City Recorder, on October 18, 2012. Copies of the proposed annexation are available from S. Annette Spendlove, City Recorder, North Ogden City, 505 East 2600 N. North Ogden, Utah from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. The legal description of the property petitioned for annexation is as follows: A TRACT OF LAND SITUATED IN THE NORTHEAST QUARTER AND SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 27, TOWNSHIP 7 NORTH, RANGE 1 WEST, SALT LAKE BASE AND MERIDIAN, U.S. SURVEY, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS. BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF CAMARREN COVE ESTATES SUBDIVISION PHASE 3, NORTH OGDEN, WEBER COUNTY, UTAH SURVEY ALSO BEING A POINT ON THE NORTH OGDEN CITY CORPORATE BOUNDARY LINE SAID POINT ALSO DESCRIBED OF RECORD AS BEING THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 27 BEING LOCATED NORTH 00 ? 30 '30 " EAST 2642.76 FEET ALONG THE WEST LINE OF SAID SECTION 27 AND SOUTH 89 ? 17 '22 " EAST 2645.94 FEET FROM THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SAID SECTION 27; RUNNING THENCE NORTH 00 ? 35 '23 " EAST 50.00 FEET ALONG SAID EAST BOUNDARY LINE OF CAMARREN COVE ESTATES SUBDIVISION PHASE 3 AND SAID NORTH OGDEN CITY CORPORATE BOUNDARY LINE TO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF HALL BROTHERS LAND CO. THE BASIS OF BEARINGS FOR THIS PLAT IS THE WEST LINE OF SECTION 27, TOWNSHIP 7 NORTH, RANGE 1 WEST, SALT LAKE BASE AND MERIDIAN WHICH BEARS NORTH 00 ? 30 '30 " WEST (UTAH NORTH NAD 83 STATE PLANE GRID BEARING BEARS NORTH 00 ? 51 '54 " WEST FROM THE SOUTHWEST CORNER TO THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID SECTION 27). The City Council will receive written protests to this annexation from the legislative or governing bodies of affected entities until November 19, 2012. Only written protests by legal protesters will be considered. A written protest to this annexation must be filed with the Weber County Board of County Commissioners, 2380 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah 84401 and a copy of said protest must be provided to S. Annette Spendlove, City Recorder, North Ogden City, 505 East 2600 North, North Ogden, Utah 84414, by November 19, 2012. If no written protests are received, the City Council may grant this annexation request November 27, 2012, by adopting an ordinance. If written protests are received, the City Council will evaluate and determine if the protests are from legal protesters and the validity of the protest. Upon the completion of such an evaluation and determination, the City Council may or may not adopt an ordinance annexing this property on November 27, 2012. By order of the City Council: S.
