REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AQUATIC CENTER OUTDOOR LIGHTING NORTH OGDEN CITY CORPORATION RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS: Proposals will be received at the office of the City Recorder 505 East 2600 North, North Ogden, UT 84414, until 5:00 pm April 18, 2014, for the Aquatic Center Outdoor Lighting Project. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Provide a proposal that includes the layout, design, and installation of new lighting for the North Shore Aquatic Center located at 245 East 2550 North, North Ogden, UT. The existing lighting isn't considered adequate for the City's needs. Proposals should consider changing-out existing fixtures as well as adding additional fixtures if necessary to improve lighting in the swimming area. Lighting changes in the parking lot will also be considered as alternate work. COMPLETION OF THE WORK: All work covered by the contract documents shall be completed by May 23, 2014. OBTAINING DOCUMENTS: Request for Proposal information may be obtained from the Parks & Recreation Office, 2705 North 550 East, North Ogden, UT 84414 upon application at no cost. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work consist of 4,504 s.y. of asphalt edge milling, 1,536 tons of 1" thick bituminous surface course overlay, pre-lower watervalves, raise manholes, water valves & monuments to grade with a concrete collar, crack seal in 2 areas, and 38,213 s.y. of Type III Slurry Seal. There will also be Alternate bid items for 144,765 s.f. of High Density Mineral Bond and 199,152 s.f. of Mastic Seal. LOCATION OF WORK: The work is located in various locations throughout Farr West City. COMPLETION OF THE WORK: All work on this project shall be completed on or before dates as follows: Schedule "A" Asphalt work - September 15, 2014. Schedule "B" Crack Seal - by July 31, 2014.
