REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Downtown Wireless Network Ogden City Corporation is accepting proposals from qualified companies to provide all necessary materials, tools, equipment, delivery, factory start-up and training needed for a free Downtown Wi-Fi. The primary purpose of the Downtown Wi-Fi is to offer access to free Wi-Fi to promote the City's Downtown area. The city intends to partner with the CVB (Convention and Visitor Bureau) to create a portal page to facilitate the dissemination of news, information on events, restaurants, history, art and local activity in the downtown area. This system is not intended to provide a commercial opportunity for the provider, however, appropriate recognition of the provider will be allowed with prior approval of the city. A Mandatory pre-submission meeting will be held April 9th at 1:00 p.m. (MST) via a web conference meeting.
