REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS WATER METER REPLACEMENT WASHINGTON TERRACE CITY CORPORATION RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS: Proposals will be received at Washington Terrace City Hall, 5249 South 400 East, Washington Terrace City, until April 20, 2012, at 2:00 pm for WATER METER REPLACEMENT. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE: To provide residential and commercial water meters for an Automatic Meter Reading (AMR)/Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system for the City; including meters, data collection hardware and software, training, and support. The immediate goal is to replace 1,000 residential and 30 commercial meters for AMR reads. The long-term goal, if feasible, is to upgrade to AMI as the City replaces existing meters. DEADLINE FOR PROPOSALS: Proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. on April 20, 2012 at the above mentioned Washington Terrace City Hall, 5249 South 400 East, Washington Terrace, Utah. OBTAINING DOCUMENTS: Request for Proposal Information and Specifications may be obtained at the Washington Terrace City Hall as listed above; upon application at no cost. Please call 801-393-8681 for availability of documents. WAITING PERIOD BEFORE AWARD: A waiting period of 30 calendar days from the date of opening of proposals to award of contract may be required. Supplier interviews may also be required. PROJECT ADMINISTRATION: All questions relative to this project, prior to the opening of bids, shall be directed to the Public Works Director at City Hall. All questions must be submitted in writing and will be answered and forwarded to Proposal Document holders as an addendum to the Request for Proposals. OWNER 'S RIGHTS RESERVED: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality in a proposal, and to make awards in the interest of the Owner.
