Lila Beverly McFarland FARR WEST - Our kind, loving mother, Lila Beverly McFarland, 85, died December 12, 2011. She was born August 5, 1926 in Slaterville, Utah the daughter of Jasper Duane and Celia Montgomery Perry. She attended elementary school in Slaterville, went to Wahlquist Junior High and graduated from Weber High. Lila married Glen McFarland on January 9, 1946 in the Salt Lake City Temple. As a member of the LDS Church, Lila was active in all organizations. She supported her husband Glen in all his church and community activities. Lila loved to embroidery, sew and read. She also loved flowers, she made blankets for every child born in her ward and grandchildren. All her handwork was given as gifts. Most of all she loved her family. She is survived by her children, David G. McFarland (Carol), Douglas D. McFarland (Maren), Randy L. McFarland (Vickie), Sherrie Ann Watson (John), Ron D. McFarland, Rick D. McFarland (Tracy); 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Also survived by her brother Robert Perry (Sharon); two sister-in-laws, Carol Lee and Luciel Prince and brother-in-law, Cleve Albiston. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen; one sister, Helen Bingham; one brother, Bud Perry and her grandson, Mason McFarland. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 16, 2011 at the Marriott-Slaterville First Ward, 250 N. 1500 W. A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 15th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. and on Friday at the church from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Ogden City Cemetery.
