PROPOSALS FOR THE FIRE STATION #2 BUILDING SEISMIC UPGRADE AND TENANT IMPROVEMENTS REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Ogden City Corporation is accepting sealed Proposals from Contractors interested in providing proposals for the Fire Station #2 Building Seismic Upgrade and Tenant Improvements. Contractors must be able to demonstrate their ability to complete the work as required. The successful contractor will be expected to provide all tools, materials, transportation, labor, and equipment necessary to complete the work per the specifications. All work must meet current industry standards and all federal, state and local rules and regulations. Ogden City is going to complete a Seismic Upgrade and Tenant Improvements at Fire Station #2 located at 1185 21st Street, Ogden, Utah. A mandatory pre-submittal meeting and building walk-through will be held Tuesday, June 18th, at 1:00pm at the Municipal Building located at 2549 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah 84401, in the 7th floor Conference room. Please allow at least two (2) hours for the pre-submittal conference and site inspection tour. Proposal information packets may be downloaded from the Ogden City Website located at OgdenCi ty.com under the Doing Business Tab and then the Bids & Proposals sub tab (pdf format) or obtained from Ogden City Purchasing, 2549 Washington Blvd., Suite 510, Ogden, Utah, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Bids will be available AFTER 5pm on June 11th. Responses to this Request for Proposal shall be submitted to the office of the City Purchasing Agent, 2549 Washington Boulevard, Suite 510 (5th Floor) Ogden, Utah, no later than June 28th, 2013 at 2:00pm. LATE PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any proposals that best serve its convenience and/or is found to be in the best interest of the City.
