YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that, pursuant to the provisions of W.Va. Code 48-22-101, et seq., a petition for adoption of your child, WRB, has been filed in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, West Virginia. The petition alleges that you are the child 's biological father and that you have abandoned him. You are advised that your parental rights to this child may be terminated in the adoption proceeding. If you wish to assert or exercise your parental rights to said child, you must appear and defend the petition on or before July 13, 2013, or within thirty (30) days following the first publication of this notice, whichever date is later. Your failure to appear and defend will result in the permanent termination of your parental rights, and you may not appear in or receive further notice of the adoption proceedings. You are further notified that a final adoption hearing will be held on July 26, 2013, at 1:00 o 'clock p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, before the Honorable Thomas C.
