INVITATION TO BID Ogden City Corporation is accepting sealed bids for the 24 Inch Water Main on Monroe, North Street to 2nd Street. The work includes but is not limited to water main installation, concrete flatwork, asphalt paving, road excavation, water service relocation, curb and gutter installation, soil grading, tree removal, and landscaping. Complete sets of Bid Documents will be available for down load from the Ogden City website at "no cost ". A complete set of Bid Documents must be used in preparing Bids. Bidders are responsible for securing any and all addenda issued. Owner and Engineer assume no responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bid Documents. Contract documents, plans and specifications may be downloaded at http://www.ogdencity.com/en/ doing_business/bids_tabulations.aspx after 9:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 21st, 2013. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 p.m. on the 28th day of May, 2013, at 2549 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah in the 7th floor conference room of the City Engineer. All contractors intending to submit a bid are required to attend in order to obtain relevant information concerning the project. Sealed bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools and equipment necessary to complete said work must be submitted on forms prepared by the City Engineer and are to be submitted to the office of the City Purchasing Agent, 2549 Washington Boulevard, 5th floor, Ogden, Utah, until 4:00 p.m., on the 11th day of June, 2013 at which time they will be opened and read aloud.
