REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS MUNICIPAL BUILDING ROOFING PROJECT Roy City Corporation RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS: Sealed proposals will be accepted by Roy City Corporation at the Roy City Public Works Building, 5460 South 2700 West, Roy, Utah, 84067, until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday April 30th, 2013 , for the Municipal Building Roofing Project. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work consists of removing existing roofing material from the 22,000 square foot Municipal Building and replacing with new, high-performance synthetic felt paper, ice and water shield, high quality asphalt shingles, colored steel drip edge to match building fascia, new roof vents, new all metal pipe flashing, and six nail per shingle installation method. LOCATION OF WORK: The work is located at the Roy City Municipal Building at 5051 South 1900 West in Roy City, Utah. COMPLETION OF WORK: All work specified in the contract documents shall be completed within 30 days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. PROPOSAL CONTENT: Proposals shall be limited to 10 pages. Contractors shall include company profile, proof of insurance and licensing; past experience (ten years minimum); list of similar completed projects; references; and proposed materials and construction methods, along with estimated time to complete the project and soonest possible date of commencement. PROJECT ADMINISTRATION: All questions relative to this project prior to opening of proposals, shall be directed to the Project Engineer, Wasatch Civil Consulting Engineering, at 801-775-9191. Questions may also be directed to Ross Oliver, Public Works Director, at 801-940-1621. OWNER 'S RIGHTS RESERVED: Roy City Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any informalities in a proposal, and to make awards in the interest of the City. Award of contract will be at the City 's discretion based on their evaluation of the proposal best determined to suit their needs.
