NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY FOR PUBLIC REVIEW AND COMMENT OGDEN CITY ANNUAL ACTION PLAN JULY 1, 2013 TO JUNE 30, 2014 The City of Ogden is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to prepare an Annual Action Plan for the use of federal funds received for housing and community development purposes. The Annual Action Plan July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014 (AAP FY14) is based on the City 's Five Year Consolidated Plan (2010-2015). This notice announces the availability of AAP FY14 for citizen review and the opportunity for citizen comment. Citizens can view the entire draft document and comment at the website: http://HUDConplan.ogdencity.com. The AAP FY14 includes estimates of anticipated funding and proposed uses of funds. Specifically, the anticipated funds of: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) entitlement $871,124, CDBG carryover $892,298 and CDBG Program Income (PI) $312,376; HOME entitlement $310,660, HOME carryover $43,640, and HOME PI $86,868; HOME Match $216,947; EDI PI funds $89,610; SPG PI funds $324,749; City Revitalization funds $1,097,136; and Housing Fund PI $32,092. Proposed uses of anticipated funds, CDBG: $90,000 Section 108 debt payment, $300,000 Target Area Public Improvements, $413,574 Infill Housing, $90,000 Rental Rehab, $40,000 Emergency Home Repair, $150,000 Code Enforcement, $12,000 Demolition, $55,000 Business Information Center (BIC), $200,000 Central Business District Revitalization, $200,617 Loan Loss Guaranty Program, $194,782 Small Business Loans, $93,125 East Central Revitalization and $236,700 CDBG Administration; and HOME $250,000 Own in Ogden, $90,239 Community Housing Development Organization, $61,167 East Central and $39,752 HOME Admin; and HOME Match $216,947 East Central; EDI $89,610 East Central; and SPG $324,749 East Central; City Funds $774,196 Infill Housing and $322,940 East Central; and Housing Fund $32,092 East Central. The comment period expires May 5, 2013 at midnight. A copy of the Draft AAP FY14 is available for public review weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at Ogden City Municipal Building, 2549 Washington Boulevard in Ogden Utah in Suite 120, Suite 420 and the City Recorder 's Office Suite 210. It is also available at the Ogden Housing Authority offices, 1100 Grant Avenue; Weber County Library, 2464 Jefferson; and the BIC, 2036 Lincoln Avenue #105 in Ogden.
