INVITATION TO BID Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Education of Ogden City School District for the District Maintenance Facility. Bids will be in accordance with drawings and specifications prepared by Ogden City School District and it may be obtained at the pre-bid walk through. You may also view them at www.ogdensd.org. Click on the "Request for Proposal " button at the bottom of the home page. A Pre-Bid walk through meeting will be held at the site of the new District Maintenance Facility, 956 20th Street, Ogden, Utah, commencing at 1:00 p.m. on March 6, 2013. Attendance at this walk-through is mandatory to qualify contractors to bid this work. The Director of Support Services at the Administration Building Room 210, 1950 Monroe Blvd., Ogden, Utah 84401 will receive bids until the hour of 2:00 P.M. on March 13, 2013 . The bid opening will be at 2:00 p.m. the same day. Envelopes must be labeled "OGDEN SCHOOL DISTRICT MAINTENANCE FACILITY RFP #3-004. " A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, made payable to the Board of Education of Ogden City School District, shall accompany bid. If a certified or cashier 's check is used in lieu of a bid bond, a certificate from an approved surety company guaranteeing execution of a 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond must accompany bid. All bidders must be in good standing with the Ogden City School District. The Board of Education of Ogden City School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the District.
