NOTICE OF BONDS TO BE ISSUED NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the provisions of Section 11-14-316, Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended, that on December 10, 2012, the Board of Trustees (the "Board ") of the Weber Basin Water Conservancy District (the "District ") adopted a resolution (the "Supplemental Resolution ") providing for the issuance of the District 's water revenue bonds (the "Bonds ") in an aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $1,200,000, to mature not more than 30 years from their date of issuance, bearing no interest (except with respect to delinquent principal installments, which shall bear interest at the rate of 18% per annum, to the extent permitted by law), and to be sold at no discount from par. The Bonds are to be issued and sold by the District pursuant to (1) a Master Resolution Providing for the Issuance of Water Conservancy Revenue Bonds, adopted July 22, 1999, as amended and supplemented (the "Master Resolution "), and (2) the Supplemental Resolution. The Master Resolution and the Supplemental Resolution are collectively referred to as the "Resolution. " A copy of the Master Resolution was attached to the Supplemental Resolution at the time of the adoption thereof. The Bonds will be issued for the purpose of (i) financing certain costs of the repair and construction of an existing dam and related facilities and (ii) paying costs of issuance of the Bonds. The Bonds shall be payable from and secured by the revenues of the District 's water system and certain other funds, as more particularly described in the Resolution. A copy of the Resolution is on file in the office of the Secretary/Treasurer of the District, located at 2837 East Highway 193, Layton, Utah, where it may be examined during regular business hours of the Secretary/Treasurer from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Resolution shall be so available for inspection for a period of at least 30 days from and after the date of the publication of this notice. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, pursuant to law, for a period of 30 days from and after the date of the publication of this notice, any person in interest shall have the right to contest the legality of the above-described Resolution of the Board, or the Bonds or any provisions made for the security and payment of the Bonds, and that after such time, no one shall have any cause of action to contest the regularity, formality or legality thereof for any cause.
