NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS PROJECT:NEW MEDICAL OFFICE BUILDING AT MEMORIAL HOSPITAL OF SWEETWATER COUNTY . 1200 College Drive, Rock Springs, WY 82901 Scope: BID PACKAGE-03 SCOPE OF WORK Current Bid Package) includes the following work: 1. Div 3 Concrete complete including building & site concrete, reinforcing steel, etc. 2. Div 5 Complete including all steel, miscellaneous metals, handrails, etc. 3. Written bids shall be submitted to: Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, C/O Hogan & Associates Construction, CEO Gerard Klein, 1200 College Drive, Rock Springs, WY 82901. Faxed (801-951-7100) and emailed (bids@hoganconstruction.com) bids will be accepted until 12:30 p.m., September 28, 2012. See Bidding Instructions and Bid Form for submission requirements. Project documents for this bid package will be available at the office of the construction manager. All bidders need to register with the CM in order to receive full documents and future addendum. Documents received by other means may not be complete. Contact Tracy Heun @ 801-951-7000 or theun@hoganconstruction.com to make arrangements to receive bidding documents. Bid Bond . Bids and proposals over $100,000 must include a bid bond or cashier 's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or proposals or to waive any formality or technicality in any proposal in the best interests of the Owner. Preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured, supplied or grown in Wyoming, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state. Preference shall be given to Wyoming contractors, subcontractors, laborers, workmen and mechanics in accordance with W.S. 16-6-102; except when Wyoming residents are not available or qualified to perform the work involved. For all public works awarded by the State of Wyoming, the University of Wyoming, pursuant to W.S. 16-6-101 through 16-8-206 estimated to cost one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) or more, a contractor who commits to ensure that not less than ten percent (10%) of the labor hours shall be worked by apprentices shall have his or her bid considered as if his or her bid were one percent (1%) lower than the actual dollar value of his or her bid.
