INVITATION TO BID Ogden City Corporation is accepting sealed bids to for the contract "Ogden City Signals 2012 ". The work includes but is not limited to upgrading traffic signal heads, cabinets, pedestrian related signalization amenities, install/replacing electrical conduit and accesses, signal head improvements, Sensys puck installation and ADA ramp at various intersections within Ogden City. Complete sets of Bid Documents will be available for down load from the Ogden City website at "no cost ". A complete set of Bid Documents must be used in preparing Bids. Bidders are responsible for securing any and all addenda issued. Owner and Engineer assume no responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bid Documents. Contract documents, plans and specifications may be down loaded at http://www.ogdencity.com/en/doing_ business/bids_tabulations.aspx after 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 29th, 2012. A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held at 11:00 a.m. on the 5th day of June, 2012, at 2549 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah in the 7th floor conference room of the City Engineer. All contractors intending to submit a bid are REQUIRED to attend to obtain relevant information concerning the project. Sealed bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools and equipment necessary to complete said work must be submitted on forms prepared by the City Engineer and are to be submitted to the office of the City Purchasing Agent, 2549 Washington Boulevard, 5th floor, Ogden, Utah, until 11:00 a.m., on June 19th, 2012 at which time they will be opened and read aloud. LATE BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid that best serves its convenience and/or is found to be in the best interest of the City.
