INVITATION TO BID Washington Terrace City Public Utilities is accepting sealed bids from qualified vendors that can provide insurance for each private utility account within the City, by which a vendor insures private sanitary sewer and water laterals, in the case of water laterals, from the water meter to the home, and in the case of the sanitary sewer, from the tap on the main line to the home. Potential bidders should include a process by which each private citizen within the Washington Terrace Public Utility Service Area is notified of the details of the program prior to the effective date of the program. It will also provide information noting that the Utility intends to include all private accounts into the program on an "opt out " basis. Bid information packets may be downloaded from the Washington Terrace City Website located at www.wt.govoffice.com under the Bids & Proposals tab (pdf format) or obtained from Washington Terrace City Hall, 5249 S. 400 E., Washington Terrace, Utah, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Vendors/Consulting Engineering firms must submit five (5) copies of their proposal. Responses to this Request for Proposal shall be submitted to the office of the City Manager 5249 S. 400 E., Washington Terrace, Utah no later than May 18, 2012 at 2:00 pm. LATE PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any proposals that best serve its convenience and/or is found to be in the best interest of the City.
