INVITATION TO BID Ogden City Community Development is accepting sealed bids from General Contractors for the construction of three single family residences located at 828 23rd Street, 836 23rd Street, and 844 23rd Street, Ogden UT. Proposal forms, plans, specifications may be obtained: Ogden City Community Development 2549 Washington Blvd. #120 Ogden UT, 84401 (801)629-8940 Licensed contractors submitting bids must be able to comply with Ogden City 's insurance and bonding requirements and have experience with construction of historic architecture style homes. In view of the fact that this project is funded in part with federal monies provided in this contract, each prospective contractor shall comply with the bid requirements set forth in Executive Order 11625 and Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. In addition to the aforementioned bid requirements, the contractor awarded the bid, and each subcontractor and lower tier contractor thereafter shall be subject to the following federal contract provisions: -Executive Orders 11246 (Equal Employment Opportunity) and 11625, and Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 regarding employment, training and contracting opportunities (12 U.S.C. 1701u). Sealed bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, and equipment necessary to complete said work must be submitted on forms prepared by the Ogden City Community Development Department and are to be submitted to the office of Ogden City Purchasing by Wednesday May 9, 2012 by 12:00 p.m. , at which time they will be opened and read aloud.
