NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING UTAH TRANSIT AUTHORITY RE: Proposed August 2017 Service Changes. UTA is proposing several service changes to local bus service in Davis County. A Public Hearing will be held at the location listed below to discuss these proposed changes. The hearing is to gather feedback for changes to routes 626, 627, 664 and 665 in Davis County. Weber State Davis Campus, Room D2-113 2750 University Park Blvd. Layton, UT 84041 Tuesday, April 25, 2017 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. At the hearing, the Utah Transit Authority will provide an opportunity for citizens, private transportation providers, public officials and interested agencies to comment on the proposed changes. To be included as part of the Public Comment record, all comments must be postmarked or received by UTA no later than May 10, 2017. THE FORMAT FOR THE PUBLIC HEARINGS WILL BE AS FOLLOWS: Open House to review and discuss proposal with UTA representatives; public comment accepted anytime during the Open House. To assure full participation at the hearing, accommodations for effective communication such as sign language interpreters, printed materials in alternative formats or a language interpreter for non-English speaking participants, must be requested at least five (5) working days prior to the date of the scheduled event. Proposals are as follows: Routes 626 and 627 The route 626 proposal includes moving the southern terminus of the route to the Clearfield FrontRunner station instead of the Weber State Davis Campus. The route will then change to the 627 at the Clearfield FrontRunner station and continue on to the Weber State Davis Campus. The route 627 proposal includes extending the north section of the route from the Weber State Davis Campus to the Clearfield FrontRunner station, where it will connect with the realigned 626. No other changes are proposed for the existing 626 or 627 alignments. The proposal also includes adding 30-minute peak hour weekday service to both routes, increasing the weekday span of service to roughly 9 p.m., and adding 60-minute Saturday service to both routes. Routes 664 and 665 UTA proposes to eliminate these two routes due to low ridership. The public is invited to review and inspect all information available concerning such proposal(s) at the Riverdale City Offices during regular office hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
